About the WRC
Do you believe that all genders, races, cultures, ethnicities, sexualities, ages, and capabilities are equal? Are you searching for a workplace dedicated to empowering women personally and professionally? If so, you’ve come to the right place!
Loyola’s Women’s Resource Center is an intersectional collective of engaged feminists, which champions societal progress through education, empowerment, and community. This community extends beyond Loyola’s campus and includes the broader New Orleans community as well. Through enacting collaborative relationships with student organizations, departments, centers, and niches, the WRC combats gender discrimination by expanding the feminist consciousness.
We are composed of three main divisions--Programming, Marketing, and Women’s Leadership--but these divisions often overlap and collaborate. You can learn more about these divisions in their respective tabs.
Interested in fighting with us? The WRC primarily employs students who have work study, but we also accept volunteers. Whatever your interest is, we encourage you to apply on Handshake!
